Skill level: Any Class size: 6 students, adults only Register by July 31, 2026 This workshop is for artists who are new to abstraction and for those who want to dive deeper into the process of abstraction. A blank canvas is intimidating, so we will use collage to make it less so. Participants will create their own papers through printing techniques and loose abstract gestures. After tearing these up and gluing them to panels, students will have created a starting point to begin exploring their abstract painting. Sarah is a practicing artist of both representational and non- representational paintings. She is an enthusiastic and encouraging teacher who creates a fun and open atmosphere to play in. She loves offering this abstract workshop! Learn more about Sarah at her website, www.swildeart.com.
