As always, the Boothbay Region Art Foundation wishes to thank you for your support and

contributions to our community-oriented, non-profit mission.

Welcome to our Gallery

in the heart of Boothbay Harbor, Maine.

The Boothbay Region Art Foundation, Inc., an inclusive, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, has been a cornerstone of the region's artistic community since 1963. Our mission is to allow artists of all ages to showcase and sell various forms of visual arts including paintings, sculpture, photography, and mixed media.  The Gallery promotes Member artists, offers a variety of classes and workshops, generates income to operate the volunteer-staffed, non-profit gallery, and provides scholarships for area graduating students to continue their art education.  Tax-deductible donations to honor the arts are critical for BRAF to continue serving our communities.  Follow us on Facebook.

Only proceeds from Member art sales and Private/Corporate donations allow the Boothbay Region Art Foundation to continue its non-profit, volunteer-operated, mission of supporting and promoting youth and adult artistic endeavors in the Boothbay area community.  We are extremely grateful for the support of our members, friends, donors, and these benefactors.

Currently Showing:  Members' June Showcase

The June Show is always eagerly anticipated as we look forward to viewing what was created during the Winter hiatus. The wine and cheese Opening Reception was attended by a constant flow of patrons who were not disappointed,  This show is not theme-based and the variety of mediums, subjects, and techniques is inspiring.

The Boothbay Region Art Foundation is not your typical Gallery...

In 1963, twenty-six founding artists desired to leave a legacy to the Boothbay Region that had given them inspiration and livelihoods.  They developed the model of selling their artwork to help fund a Boothbay Region High School Scholarship Foundation to assist local college bound graduates with an interest in artistic endeavors.  Over a half a century later, the members, artists, and volunteers of the Boothbay Region Art Foundation Inc., a 501{c}(3) charitable and educational nonprofit organization, continue that operational model through the Gallery. The artists still return a portion of their sale proceeds to the Foundation to support the Gallery, the inclusion of K-12 Art Shows, and the BRAF Scholarships.  Your donations will also contribute to this long legacy of giving back, inspired by the bounty of the Boothbay Region.
