Prospectus
This year’s juried Art in ME statewide exhibition is LARGE FORMAT. It is open to full or part-time Maine residents and will be held at the Boothbay Region Art Foundation (BRAF) gallery in Boothbay Harbor, ME, October 7- November 11. Contemporary artists who work in drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture and mixed media are invited to submit up to 2 entries.

2-dimensional works must be at least 30” on the smallest side, or 900 square inches overall.

This year’s artwork must be submitted in person to:
Boothbay Region Art Foundation at 1 Townsend Ave, Boothbay Harbor.
Drop-off dates:
Sept. 28, 12-4 pm; Sept. 29, 12-4 pm; and Sept. 30, 10 am–2 pm.

Entry Guidelines:

no more than 2 entries of original fine art.

Work must be properly wired whether framed or un-framed (no clips or hooks).

BRAF takes 35% commission for sold work.

2023 JUROR: Diana Kerr
Diana Kerr has over 45 years of art experience in curation, administration, and sales.
In her earlier years, she was in charge of corporate art sales at a gallery in Boston and was manager of Baridoff’s contemporary gallery in Portland, Maine.
More recently, Diana was curator and art consultant at the Firehouse Gallery in Damariscotta and was Assistant Director/Director of Sales at Gleason Fine Art in Boothbay Harbor.
During all this time, Diana was creating her own work, “Diana Kerr Design”.
She is now co-owner / co-manager of Kerr Jones Gallery in East Boothbay, Maine.
