“Wintering” Returns: Call for Artists for BRAF Exhibit

BOOTHBAY HARBOR, Maine – Following a successful inaugural year that resonated with the local creative community, the Boothbay Region Art Foundation (BRAF) is pleased to announce the return of its themed, non-juried exhibition: “Wintering.”
Now in its second year, this exhibit invites artists to explore the multifaceted nature of the season. BRAF seeks unique interpretations of the winter experience—showcasing the quiet beauty, the stark wonder, and the distinct challenges of the colder months. “Wintering” exhibit is open to all Maine-based artists. We encourage up to two (2) submissions ranging from representative to abstract, across all media including painting, sculpture, photography, mixed media, ceramics, and digital art.

Submission Guidelines: Artists may submit their work in person at the BRAF Gallery.
Drop-off Dates:
Monday, January 12, 2026 (10:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
Tuesday, January 13, 2026 (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM)
Submission Fee (per piece): $10 for Members ($20 for 2); $15 for Non-members ($30 for 2)
