Crimsons, ochres, burnt umbers, cadmium reds and cerulean blues make up the palette for the Boothbay Region Art Foundation’s (BRAF) Fall Member’s Show, which is also the final member’s show of the 2025 summer season. Featuring works by more than 100 BRAF member artists the Fall Member’s Show will be on view from Wednesday August 27th through Sunday September 21st.

Plus, you’ll want to immerse yourself in the plein air works of Darcey Crandall and Catherine Hughes in their duo show appropriately titled “Mostly Landscapes” in BRAF’s Gallery One space. “We met years ago in a painting class and have been doing plein air painting together ever since,” says Crandall. “While our styles are completely different, we both embrace painting outdoors.”

We invite you to join us for an opening reception on Friday, September 5th, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. It's a great opportunity to meet our amazing member artists, discover the variety of subjects and techniques on display, and enjoy some light refreshments in a warm and festive atmosphere.
Come experience the best fall colors at the Boothbay Region Art Foundation.
